Souta Kiln Founded in 1997, Souta Kiln is a family that makes Arita ware in Yamauchi Town, next to Arita Town in Saga Prefecture. 

The warm hand-drawn patterns and beautiful blue color, nicknamed "Souta Blue," have earned the company many fans overseas. 

The small plates with their detailed hand-drawn patterns and cute shapes are especially popular among locals.
